We are currently seeking two rising stars to add to our team of solar professionals in Ontario.

* Knowledge of the Ontario FIT programs

* Demonstrable experience developing long-term business relationships with key decision makers in organizations.
* Experience teaming effectively with others across varying disciplines, functions and organizations.

Essential Functions:

Support the development of business opportunities as a representative of OYA Solar’s Residential subsidiary, OYA Energy. Work within a team environment to win customer commitments and develop a network of residential roofers, home builders, electricians and solar PV system integrators and installers throughout Essex County. Carry out specific tasks called for by the OYA Solar sales and marketing plan.

Generally tasks will include:

* In person visits at customer locations
* Telephone prospecting
* Identifying and qualifying applications for new business
* Promoting solutions to customers
* Preparing written presentations and quotations
* Preparing single line diagrams, system layouts and perform shading analyses
* Travel throughout Essex County
* Staying knowledgeable about emerging renewable energy technologies
* Learning applications for new and existing products
* Product demonstrations and presentations
* Trade show work
* Other duties as assigned

Educational and Professional Requirements:

Interested candidates should hold a university or college degree. Success in a previous sales role is an asset, preferably with a distributor in the electrical or home builder industries. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies is preferred, but not required.
