Did the OLG board win the lottery when they got fired?

Its not under scaledown’s purview but I can’t help but commenting.

How much severence pay will the OLG board get?

If they spent money on things they weren’t supposed to, how much money will the Ontario Government pursue being reimbursed?

……

Uh-huh, just what I thought, silence.

    Mark,

    A Board of Directors is not the same as Senior Management. I am not aware of any circumstance where a Director would be entitled to severance pay.

    I was reading someone got $700,000 in severence earlier and ehealth chairwomen got $318,000

    But your right they’re sticking to their guns unless this CEO decides to sue.

    Mark,

    The eHealth chairwomen was the CEO of eHealth. In other words, she was part of management not the Board of Directors. She reported to the Board.
