Windsor’s New Canal* - Spectacular!
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. I just watched the Red Bull Air Race coverage on Sportsnet. They showed Niagara Falls in the opening credits and when they came back from commercial. They may have shown it a couple more times (I had to go out after the first half-hour).
Other than that, I thought the show was great. I was pretty cool to hear the commentators gushing about Windsor and, one of the pilots, after his run said “thank’s Windsor” on the race radio during his cockpit shot.
* The use of “canal” in the title is only there for the ironic humour of the images of Niagara Falls used in the Sportsnet broadcast. I still won’t call what they want to build downtown a canal - because it’s not!
