But that doesn’t mean that the show will be boring. Ohhhh nooooo sirrrrr! We’ve actually ramped it up a bit by bringing two of Windsor’s powerhouse media personalities into the studio to give Andrew and I a lesson in working the mic.
The host of CBCs “The Early Shift” Tony Doucette and A news anchor Jim Crichton cleared an hour out of their busy schedules to go live on the air with us (they even paid to be there by making pledges!), because they know just how important community radio is. I highly suggest you give this episode a listen, as Jim and Tony both have some great stories to tell. Even Percy Hatfield called in a pledge during the show and talked with us a bit. All in all a fantastic hour!
It was a ton of fun hanging with these guys. I think you can tell we’re having a ball when you listen to it.
I wanted to shout out a big “THANK YOU” to all our listeners who pitched in today and supported the great work that CJAM is doing. I didn’t get a good look at all the names on the list, but I do know someone by the name of “UrbanRat” and someone else named “PC” were on the list of donors. Rat you should look good in that new CJAM hoody! You guys rock!

Oh yeah - I get to brag a bit as well. Remember my pitching to everyone to call in a pre-pledge because CJAM is giving away a hoody sweatshirt to the person/group who brought in the most pre-pledges? Yeah - That was ScaleDown! We (you) won! So once Adam slows down a little bit, I will be getting the list of everyone who pre-pledge on behalf of ScaleDown and draw one of those names. Regardless of how much you pre-pledged, you get a chance at that way-cool Hoody sweatshirt. I’ll keep you in the loop, OK? You guys/gals make me so proud! *sniff*
