As you know, ScaleDown has been active on the airwaves for a while on the community radio station CJAM 91.5 FM.

We have been broadcasting every week with this tremedous cast of volunteer DJ’s, in the hope of bringing ScaleDown’s unique perspective on municipal affairs to a broader demographic.

Well, it’s now time for us to try and raise some cash to keep CJAM doing what it does best - offering quality radio programming that otherwise wouldn’t reach the airwaves.

Please read and follow the instructions pasted below and help ScaleDown help CJAM. If we get the most pre-pledges collected and paid before the pledge drive officially starts this Friday at noon, we will collect a limited edition CJAM hoody (pledge value of $100) that we will in turn pass along to a lucky supporter here, regardless of the amount you’ve pledged.

CJAM FM is celebrating 25 years of FM broadcasting this year, and we’re reaching out to the community once again to support quality community radio in Windsor and Detroit. Our goal this year: $25,000!

CJAM is a volunteer-driven Not-for-Profit organization. Without the contributions of our listeners, we would be hard-pressed to fix, replace and maintain our broadcasting equipment. Our programmers are VOLUNTEERS, and CJAM has one of the smallest paid staff in the country. Quite simply, we rely on the support from the community for our very existence.
